Rana Begum's No. 1367 Mesh (2024), made for Pallant House's historic staircase features Begum’s colourful mesh clusters. Each form brings vibrant colour and organic shapes to the 18th-century townhouse. The gridded material spills over the landing balcony and through the middle of the staircase, allowing visitors to experience the work from multiple angles.
In 2025 Rana Begum will curate an exhibition drawn from the Pallant House Gallery collection to complement her installation.
