This woodblock print was made in collaboration with the Adachi Foundation for the Preservation of Woodcut Printing in Tokyo, Japan, using the traditional techniques developed for ukiyo-e during the Edo period. This print has been made using uniquely Japanese materials including woodblocks made from the wild mountain cherry tree, handcrafted washi Japanese paper and water-based pigments to create the vivid colours in Peter McDonald's work.
Signed Traditional Japanese woodblock prints are not numbered. On the white paper border of each print is information stating the name of the block carver and printer and stating 120 were made. Price includes 20% VAT
